Senor Film returns!...admittedly I never left but its great to make an entrance.

So earlier I watched the official trailer for the new movie 'Ted' and if I hadn't already been shown what it was then at first I would probably have thought it was some type of romantic comedy and clearly this is what is intended, because when we are shown Ted (Seth Macfarlane, who also directs) for the first time the effect is immediate and totally shatters the previous mood (in a great way). The first appearance of Ted is simply hilarious, it shows the main character John (Mark Wahlberg) cowering like a child at sounds of thunder while his disgruntled girlfriend is in dismay at his childish fears. An equally scared Ted soon comes storming in (if you'll pardon the pun) seeking mutual comfort. The two characters seeming horrified is made even better when their childish song takes a turn and becomes "fuck you thunder, you can suck my balls" this song is easily the highlight of this trailer but obviously it would be nothing without the rest.
This film also seems to be like a kids film but grown up, it makes you think about what happens 27 years after the little kids cute toy bear came to life and solved all of little Johnnny's problems. There seem to be a lot of different elements at play here, such as Johns passionate romance with girlfriend Laurie (Mila Kunis), his best-friendship with Ted and of course the troubles it brings. Overall this film looks to be very funny, very original and in my opinion will be a big hit at the box office.
