Euro 2012 Violence In Warsaw - 13/06/12

With the Euro championship well underway now its no wonder why people are already getting hurt, the lasted fiasco comes as Russian fans marked their national day by marching towards the match.Heavy Riot gear police were on hand to stop any violence however this did not stop 10 people getting injured. Official police reports put the arrest count at around 120 people.Tear gas and rubber bullets were used by the Warsaw police to desperse any unrulely fans at the end of the march. In a seperate incident 50 Polish fans wearing masks attacked Russian in a Warsaw cafe.The riot police had glass bottles thrown at them and in response to this they fired back rubber bullets and tear gas.Russian fans are already in trouble for allegley abusing the Czech Republic's only black player, some fans were also caught punching and kicking stewards both are said to be investigated by UFEA.
