Syria government forces have killed at least 86 people in Hama province, according to pro-democracy activists. It's speculated that around 40 of the dead were women and children. This news comes just 2 weeks after a similar attack in Houla that left 108 people dead. In an interview with BBC news tonight an activist in Hama said this;
"They executed [nearly] every person in the village. Very few numbers could flee. The majority were slaughtered with knives and in a horrible and ugly way,"

This shows some of the violent protest taking place in Syria. |
Supposedly, Bashar al-Assad, syrian leader, oversees the killings. But, could a man who before his father died said he lacked interest in politics or the military, a man educated in medicine and with a wife and two children of their own be capable of allowing such things? I think Assad is a puppet, the question is; who's pulling the strings?
