Great news everyone! Bryan Mills is back (Liam Neeson). Yes that's right the simply phenomenal film 'Taken' is certain for a sequel now with the new trailer gracing our YouTube screens.
This is a preview that I am extremely excited to write and a trailer that I have already seen at least 5 times. Things are looking great for Bryan Mills after the events of "Taken" and his relationship with his family seems to be going great and his life appears to be a big improvement to before. His relationship with his daughter seems stronger than ever and it is even hinted that he and Lenore could be getting back together.
The trailer looks simply epic. While the first film was just bad luck on the eastern Europeans behalf, now they are actually targeting Bryan Mills (silly them). Its clear to us that the Europeans are going after Bryan and his family because of what he did to their 'Business' and their people in the last instalment, and if its revenge they are looking for I don't think they will like what they find. This film is set in Istanbul and sadly the trailer shows us very little information as to why Bryan is there but we are shown that his family have decided to surprise him there. From the little we are shown in this trailer it looks as though Maggie Grace's character Kim will be playing a bigger part and maybe won't be as helpless as the previous film due to not being the person who is taken. This time its Lenore (Famke Janssen) that is getting kidnapped, and it looks as though Bryan might just have been about to rekindle his romance with her until she is taken (bad luck Bryan).
From the 2minute 23second long trailer we can see that this new instalment looks nothing short of amazing. Yes it may be difficult for this film to live up to the hype generated by the previous movie but we can only hope that this will be another adrenaline fuelled, badass, action movie and from the trailer we are shown it looks to be just that!
