Flooding To Hit More Of The UK

Heavy rain is set to hit parts of England, as flood warnings remain in place.The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts in 50 areas - 42 are in south-east England.The Met is warning of heavy rain in London, and also south and east England.Rain is said to also affect parts of Scotland.the highest level of flood danger is yet to be issued, this warning means there is danger to lose of life. In Hampshire village four people had to be rescued. A man in Waterlooville had to be rescued by fire fighters after his vehicle became stuck. Here are the latest information on travel disrupted and heavily hit areas due to floods from the BBC news website.

The M1 was closed between junctions 48 and 45 southbound and between junctions 43 and 46 northbound after flooding left debris on the carriageways.
The A33 at Chineham near Basingstoke, Hampshire, could be closed for up to 24 hours.
People in the Bognor Regis and Chichester areas of West Sussex have been urged to travel only if they need to after roads became impassable due to flooding.
Incidents were reported in the village of Boroughbidge, North Yorkshire while there was flooding in 15 homes in the Badger Hill district of York.
