"A pest and a menace" are the words mayor of London, Boris Johnson, used to describe foxes after a young one month old baby boy was attacked.

In the process of this all happening the fox tore the child's finger off, but luckily surgeons were able to reattach the finger and he is said to be recovering well.
While Boris Johnson and others are now calling for culling of the animals they describe as "pest", the RSPCA are reminding the public "it's extremely unusual for foxes to attack young children or anyone."
This is not the first time children have been attacked by foxes. The council are urging people to remember that foxes are drawn to food, open rubbish left out and not to leave windows or doors open as they will venture into your home.
