The Hangover part III - New Trailer

The theatrical poster is mocking Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
The Hangover Part III is an upcoming American comedy film produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's The Hangover Part II, and the third and final film in The Hangover franchise. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha with Todd Phillips directing a screenplay written by himself and Craig Mazin. The Hangover Part III is scheduled for release on May 24, 2013.

Picking up after the disastrous lead-up to Stu’s Thailand wedding in Part II, the film promises to bring the series to a definitive close.

Not only does the posters tagline confirm that ‘It all ends’, but director Todd Phillips has previously stated that “the third would very much be a finale and an ending".
Where the original Hangover took place in Vegas, and the follow-up hit Bangkok, Part III will see the boys hit more than one location around the world.

Man Utd 1 - 2 Real Madrid

Manchester United's Champions League ambitions ended in controversial circumstances that left manager Sir Alex Ferguson and his players enraged at Old Trafford.

United looked on course for a place in the quarter-finals at Real Madrid's expense after Sergio Ramos's own goal just after half-time gave them a platform to build on the 1-1 draw from the first leg at the Bernabeu.

The tie was transformed by Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir's decision to send off Nani for an aerial challenge on Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa after 56 minutes - a red card that reduced Ferguson and his players to fury.

Jose Mourinho's side, a subdued force until then, took advantage ruthlessly with two goals in three minutes from ex-Tottenham midfield man Luka Modric and former United golden boy Cristiano Ronaldo to move into the last eight.

United responded superbly with a typical late rally that brought a series of fine saves from Real keeper Diego Lopez, but events midway through a dramatic second half settled the destiny of an enthralling game.

Ferguson's body language after Nani's dismissal screamed anger and injustice and he had good reason to feel United could well have been taking their place in the latter stages until the referee's intervention.

Mourinho now moves on towards his target of a third Champions League with three different clubs while United must concentrate on domestic matters as they close in on a 20th title with a commanding 12-point lead in the Premier League and a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Ferguson's decision to drop Wayne Rooney was another of the bold selection decisions the Scot is adept at taking - he also gave Ryan Giggs his 1,000th professional appearance - and he was rewarded with a first half display that mixed strict defensive discipline with attacking threat on the break.

Ronaldo received a rapturous reception that echoed around Old Trafford, responding with a wave and a tap of the hand on his heart in return.Real's superstar was kept at arm's length in the first half, wasting a free-kick then being frustrated by a fine challenge from United captain Nemanja Vidic when he finally found space in the area.

And Vidic came closest to breaking the deadlock in an engrossing contest when his header hit the post from a Giggs corner, with Danny Welbeck being ruled offside as he attempted to turn in the rebound.

Welbeck's energy and movement was a feature of United's play but he was unable to turn in an inviting rebound when Lopez failed to hold Robin van Persie's initial effort.

Real suffered a blow towards the end of the first half when the dangerous Angel di Maria pulled up holding his hamstring and was replaced by Brazilian Kaka.

United did make the breakthrough three minutes after half-time when Nani won the ball back from Raphael Varane as he failed to clear in the area and his cross took the faintest touch off Welbeck before Ramos deflected the ball past Lopez.

It was reward for United's efforts - but events were to suddenly conspire against them and take this tie beyond their control after 56 minutes.

Nani went into a high challenge with Arbeloa but his eyes were on the ball throughout and United were stunned when referee Cakir waited for the Portuguese to get back on his feet before producing the red card.

Ferguson raced into his technical area to protest while United's players surrounded the official to no avail - United's manager then turning to all parts of Old Trafford and raising his arms and clenching his fists to plead for even louder support.

It came but the sense that the game had taken a crucial turn against United was underscored as Real struck to make the most of their numerical advantage with two quick goals.Mourinho's reaction to the red card was to replace Arbeloa with Modric, who took the opportunity to put his struggles at the Bernabeu behind him at the worst possible time for United with a fine equaliser after 66 minutes.

He showed a fine change of pace on the edge of the area before swerving a 20-yard shot past United keeper David de Gea and into the net via the post.

And, inevitably, Ronaldo made his impact with Real's second three minutes later, turning in Gonzalo Higuain's cross from a tight angle at the far post. His celebrations were muted but the travelling Real supporters packed into a corner of Old Trafford were ecstatic.

Rooney was introduced for Tom Cleverley as United showed the spirit and fight that is their trademark as they tackled an impossible task.Lopez saved crucially from Michael Carrick and Van Persie while Rooney shot over and into the Stretford End from 10 yards.

The keeper also saved acrobatically from another Vidic header although Real remained dangerous on the break with Kaka hitting the post and Ronaldo bringing saves from De Gea.

A night of frustration was summed up by jeers aimed at the referee at the final whistle, jeers that soon turned to applause for United's disappointed players.

FBI Release Whitney Houston Files

Newly released documents, though heavily redacted, shed light on pressure the singer faced from blackmailers and obsessives.

The FBI has released 128 pages from its file on Whitney Houston, revealing details of an apparently successful blackmail plot, as well as an investigation into an obsessed fan.

Released in response to a freedom of information request, the FBI's documents cover 11 years of threats against the singer, from 1988 to 1999. But the pages are heavily redacted – in many cases, to the point of incomprehensibility.

Sometimes the redactions are tantalising. In late 1992, an unidentified Chicago lawyer wrote to Houston's New Jersey-based production company stating that unless the singer paid $100,000 (£66,000), his client planned to "reveal certain details of Houston's private life … to several publications". Later the blackmail amount was boosted even higher, to $250,000 (£165,000).

According to the FBI, this was extortion. But when agents met with Houston and her father, the singer said she knew the woman who was making the threats, and that she was "a friend … [who] would never do anything to embarrass her". Officers closed the case, even though Houston's father had apparently sent the blackmailer a confidentiality agreement and an unknown sum of money.

In addition to the extortion case, officers investigated several cases of over-devoted fans. One Vermont letter-writer claimed: "I start to shake … when I think about you."

"Over the past 17 months, I have sent … 66 letters to Miss Whitney," he wrote. "I have tried to stop writing the letters and to give up twice but after a few weeks I had to start writing again … I have gotten mad at [Whitney] a few times [for not replying] … it scares me that I might come up with some crazy or stupid or really dumb idea … I might hurt someone with some crazy idea."

FBI agents eventually questioned Houston's one-sided pen-pal in 1988. They decided he was harmless. The same was true for a Dutch or Belgian correspondent who insisted he had written some of Houston's songs. The writer further claimed that he was the president of Europe and had purchased the country of Brazil for $66bn.

After selling more than 200m records worldwide, Houston drowned in a hotel bathtub in February 2012. She was 48.

Christopher Nolan And Zack Snyder For Justice League?

The status of Warner’s proposed Justice League movie has been surrounded by question marks over the last few weeks, with reports suggesting that the film will only get the green light if Man Of Steel is a success.

The latest whisper comes from Latino Review, who have suggested that Man Of Steel’s producer / director team of Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder may repeat the trick for Justice League, with both men reprising their roles for the prospective project.

“Christopher Nolan has completely taken over the DCU at Warner Bros,” claims the site. “Anything having to do with these super heroes, goes through him now.”

Intriguingly, the site goes onto suggest that Warner is hoping to persuade Christian Bale to return to the cape and cowl to play Batman to Henry Cavill’s Superman, with the Justice League movie set to focus on the dynamic between those two characters.

All of which sounds a mite fanciful to us, particularly given how keen Nolan was to round of his trilogy with a definite sense of finality. Would he really be keen to overhaul his ending and throw Bale’s Batman back into the line of fire?

We shall have to wait and see.

In the meantime, Man Of Steel will open in the UK on 14 June 2013.

Wretch 32 Featuring Shakka - Blackout

Wretch 32 is back with his new single Blackout featuring Shakka

This is a collaboration that we have been waiting FOREVER for. Homegrown talents Wretch 32 and Shakka have teamed up on new single ‘Blackout’. Set to be first single of the ‘Traktor’ star’s new album due for release later this year, ‘Blackout’ features the unique vocals of the star of our favorite Shakkapella’s, Shakka. The Knox Brown produced track follows the high-powered Kano sample Pop and is certainly another deep track from the North London artist.

Blackout sounds pretty good. If the other tracks on Wretch’s forthcoming album are of this standard then I might be persuaded to purchase a copy. If you didn’t hear it’s premiere last night on MistaJam’s Radio1xtra show, then listen to the future hit here below.
